Ministries
The ministries at Gideon Christian Fellowship International are living demonstrations of our Apostolic-Prophetic calling to train, activate, and release ministry teams to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ locally, nationally and internationally. If you believe that God is calling you to join a ministry team, we encourage you to pray and contact the appropriate elder and/or ministry leader.
Apostolic/Prophetic Ministry
The Apostolic/Prophetic Ministry’s mission is to teach, train and activate the saints whom God has graced with this special anointing on their lives to become mature in all aspects of Apostolic/Prophetic ministry. The ministry encourages and equips the saints to hear the voice of God so their gifts can be stirred up, developed and used to glory God and bless those who have an ear to hear what Holy Spirit is speaking. Finally, the ministry releases Apostolic/Prophetic teams to minister locally and abroad.
Audio Visual Ministry
GCFI’s Audio Visual ministry provides technical excellence in audio and video that enhances the worship experience and ensures the Word of God is communicated with absolute clarity, both within our sanctuary and our recordings.
Evangelism
The Evangelism Team goes out under the anointing of Holy Spirit, sharing The Gospel of Jesus Christ and winning souls for The Kingdom of GOD. Our vision is to have teams dispersed throughout various communities to share the Word OF GOD, pray for individuals and their needs, and to see GOD move in their midst. The Evangelism Team meets every second Saturday at 9am.
Intercessory Prayer Ministry
Consistent with the Vision of GCFI, the Intercessory Prayer Ministry Team is called by God to offer all manner of prayers and intercession for the church, city, state and nations; to teach all manner of prayer; and to raise up and impower prayer leaders who will help maintain a consistent and sustained prayer environment under the leading of Holy Spirit.
The Intercessory Prayer Ministry’s vision is to see the church established as a house of prayer where members are transformed into mature intercessors who will influence our country and the nations through fervent prayer by the leading and guidance of Holy Spirit.
Music Ministry
GCFI’s Music Ministry desires to exhort God’s people to deeper realms of Prophetic Praise and Worship. We believe that Prophetic Worship will be the gateway to usher in the “New Sound” on earth as it is in heaven. Our purpose is to also: train and raise up a company of skilled Apostolic/Prophetic psalmists and minstrels to use their gifts more effectively in worship; and to have anointed musicians and singers come together as “one voice” that ushers in the Lord’s presence each time we meet.

Nursing Home
Ministry
The Nursing Home Ministry regularly visits nursing home residents to pray and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The team members avail themselves to Holy Spirit, that through them, He would manifest His power of deliverance to those who are bound, bruised, and/or in need of healing in the body, mind, soul, and spirit. The team also minsters to those in need of salvation or spiritual restoration that through His word souls are won to Christ! (Luke 4:18-19)
Prophetic Dance Ministry
Order Our Steps Prophetic Dance Ministry are individuals commissioned by God to worship Him in choreographed and prophetic dance so that they may be used as channels of healing, deliverance and exhortation. We focus on expressive movement and biblical principles of dance. We seek to exemplify what God desires to communicate.
“Order my steps in thy word and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.” Psalm 119:133
We minister most Sundays during Praise and Worship after warm up, stretching and prayer. While formal dance training is not required,
one should be called to dance and have the ability to move expressively. Dance attire should always be modest and music lyrics will always be biblically sound in nature.
Ushers, Greeters & Altar Workers Ministry
The mission of the Ushers, Greeters & Altar Workers Ministry is to serve and demonstrate God's commission to us, to prayerfully promote an atmosphere where all those attending will feel welcomed, and to meet the needs of the congregation during service. Our altar workers’ primary focus is on spiritual ministry during invitations or altar calls. As a team, we thrive to avoid distractions at critical times while operating with order and in the spirt of excellence.
